Toronto land transfer tax
Buyers in the City of Toronto pay two land transfer taxes: Ontario's and Toronto's municipal tax. Toronto uses the same rates as Ontario up to $3 million and graduated rates from 4.4% to 8.6% above that (from April 1, 2026).
