The Ontario Trillium Benefit (OTB) combines the Ontario Energy and Property Tax Credit, the Northern Ontario Energy Credit and the Ontario Sales Tax Credit. It is usually paid on the 10th of each month.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get the OTB as one payment?
If your 2026 OTB entitlement is $500 or less, it is paid in one lump sum, usually in July. If it's more, it's spread over 12 months, unless you chose on your 2025 return to get it all in one payment on June 10, 2027.
