Your employer issues a T4 for every job you had during the year, by the end of February.
- What it is
- The earnings your EI premiums were calculated on, up to the yearly maximum ($65,700 for 2025 and $68,900 for 2026).
- Where it goes on your return
- Used on Schedule 10 to work out whether you overpaid EI (refunded on line 45000).
- If box 24 is blank, it's the same as box 14 (or the maximum).
