T4: Statement of Remuneration Paid

Your employer issues a T4 for every job you had during the year, by the end of February.

T4A: Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity, and Other Income

You get a T4A for pension income, self-employed commissions, scholarships, fees for services and other income that isn't a salary.

T5: Statement of Investment Income

Banks, brokers and companies issue a T5 when they paid you $50 or more in interest or dividends.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find my tax slips?

Sign in to CRA My Account and open Tax slips, usually from late February. Employers, banks and pension plans also mail slips or post them online.

What if a slip is wrong or missing?

Ask the issuer for an amended slip. If you can't get it in time, estimate the amounts from your pay stubs or statements, file by the deadline, and attach a note.
